Ran Tao

Ran Tao grew up in Nanjing, China. He earned his Engineer's Degree (Diplôme d'Ingénieur) in mechanical engineering from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, France, in 2012. During his education, he participated in research projects in the University of Tokyo and University of Alberta. As a senior, his industrial research project was on component sizing by inverse approach and optimal control of the automotive electrical power system. He is now pursuing an MSc degree in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Alberta.
