Carlos Rossa

Carlos Rossa received the Engineering and the M.Sc degrees in Mechatronics from the Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Metz, France, both in 2010, and earned the PhD degree in Mechanics, Acoustics, Electronics and Robotics from the Université Pierre et Marie Currie, Paris, France in 2013, under the auspices of the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). He then joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta in December 2013 as a research fellow. Dr. Rossa’s current research interests include the design and control of human-machine interfaces with an emphasis on haptic interfaces, actuators and sensors technologies, control engineering, and robotics.
