Welcome to the EE552 help page. This page is a compilation of everyone's cad-tool documentation from the fall term 1997 as well as a few web sites worth checking out. I should say right up front that a lot of this is student contributed theories on why their projects didn't work. You will certainly be running into conflicting advice as you read ahead. Remember, only about half he groups had their projects working well.

So you need help with:

Check out all the group's home pages and their final reports. Most of the groups have made quite impressive pages and some even give out all their code for free. You may also want to check out a cool course from Virginia called EE436. They don't use all the same tools and hardware as we do but there is some impressive tutorials and lectures on-line.

If you need help setting up netscape check out the netscape help page. It shows how to set up Acrobat, Ghostview and the news-reader.
