  • Design and control of robotic systems for image-guided surgeries (e.g., on the beating heart)
  • Design and control of robotic systems for needle steering in prostate and breast brachytherapies
  • Design and control of robotic and haptic telerobotic systems for in-home telerehabilitation of stroke patients
  • Design and control of robotic wearable systems for injury prevention
  • Design and control of bilateral and multilateral teleoperation systems under delays, uncertainties, nonlinearities, sampling, and switching
