Biography

    I am a Ph.D. candidate at iCORE Wireless Communications Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Prof. Norman C. Beaulieu. I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology in 1995 and 1999 respectively. From June 1999 to March 2001, I was with the Engineering Research Centre, University of Isfahan, where I was working as a system analyst.

    My favorite research topics are cochannel interference suppression in multiaccess systems, multiuser detection, equalization and sequence detection, and synchronization in digital communication systems. My former supervisors were Prof. Ali M. Doosthoseini (Isfahan University of Technology) and Prof. Saeed Gazor (Queen's University).
