The Nanophotonics Research Lab (ECERF W4-087) houses development workstations for designing and simulating nanophotonic devices and structures. The lab is also equipped with nanopositioning stages, lasers and instrumentation for characterizing and performing experiments with photonic devices.  Device fabrication is done at the University of Alberta’s NanoFabrication Facility, the largest university fabrication facility of its kind in Canada and at the  National Institute of Nano-Technology
