Welcome to my website! I am Professor and Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta.

My research interests focus on the general area of nonlinear dynamical systems and control theory, including sampled-data nonlinear control, nonlinear observers, and applications in biomedical engineering and control of large industrial facilities.
