Amin Emad is currently a research assistant at the iCORE Wireless Communications Laboratory. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical
Engineering at the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, with a rank among the top 5% students of the department in 2007.
He achieved a gold medal and the 1st rank in the "National Physics Olympiad of Iran" in 2002. Amin received his M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Alberta in 2009.
He was a recipeint of "Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Postgraduate Scholarship (NSERC PGS-M)" and an "iCORE Graduate Scholarship in
Information and Communications Technology" (previously known as Alberta Ingenuity Fund).
