The medical robotics seminar with Dr. Tavakoli with FREE ice cream has been postponed to NOV. 27, 2PM (room to be determined). The CCI tour is also postponed (Date to be determined).
The lab tour was very interesting. The AMMI lab showed us some very cool devices and machines that they have built and are currently working on. Among other things, they showed us a touchscreen computer interface which was the size of a desk, and also showed us their 3D “cave” which allows the user to navigate through a large animated 3D scenery that completely surrounds the user. We thank the AMMI Lab for giving us the tour.

Come enjoy Rocky Road ice cream while Dr. Mahdi Tavakoli gives a seminar about medical robotics. This is great for anyone interested in the field, and for those of you thinking about taking Dr. Tavakoli’s medical robotics course, and for those that like ice cream.
The seminar will be Friday November 13 from 2pm to 3pm (room TBA). As usual, it will be AWESOME.

Come to check out some interesting projects like Wii-habilitation and cool lab instruments such as a laser scanner and motion capture equipment.
