This project involved the design of a motor speed controller. The fundamental components of the system are a keypad, a display unit, and of course, a motor. The display shows at all times, the current motor speed, and the desired operational motor speed. The user inputs the desired operational speed via the keypad, and the motor speed controller chip sends pulses out to the motor to increase or decrease its speed as required.
