| Between 2 and 10 equally-weighted in-class quizzes or exercises are given during lectures and laboratories throughout the term. These cover topics presented and discussed in the lecture and the laboratory, and exercises relevant to the design process and its implementation in a group-oriented environment. Grading of a particular quiz/exercise may be on a pass/fail or other basis, and may be attributed to a group or an individual. A mark of 0% is allocated to a quiz/exercise if you miss it. The overall mark for this component is calculated by taking the average of the top n-1 marks of n exercises and quizzes. |
