| Projects are expected to have emphasis on hardware design, although supporting software and/or firmware is often required. There are, however, exceptions to this rule. Voltages and currents must be in a range that are safe to handle: we use 40V as a guideline -- systems requiring CSA approval are generally not possible with this limitation. Other safety concerns are to be satisfactorily addressed when proposed. Projects which directly support unethical activity are not accepted. The project scope is inherently limited by the modest budget allocated to each group. |
