The EE 400/401 laboratory has a limited selection of parts available for project use. See Data Sheets for more information about some of these parts. In a bid to reduce course operating costs, your project will be nudged toward using the following parts unless your design (and you) justify an alternative. When deriving a cost estimate for your proposal, all components with the exception of standard (1/4W) resistors and common capacitors need to be included. The ECE Department has a parts room that carries additional parts which may be of interest to you. Talk to Rick MacGregor in ETLC E3-012 to get more information. Please note that any parts taken from the parts room will be counted in your project's costs. The following is a partial list of components held within the lab.
