We are currently inviting submissions for oral and poster
presentations. No full length articles are required; rather, a book of
extended abstracts will be published. The Symposium is intended as a
one-day exposition of Alberta's research in ECE. As such, we encourage
authors to present their research from a high level so that it is
accessible to a general audience. Furthermore, we encourage the
submission of surveys that focus on one's area of research, describing
important open problems, motivating applications, and overlap with
other subfields of ECE. The scope of the Symposium includes, but is not
limited to:
- Nanotechnology/MEMS
- Wireless Communications
- Advanced Computation
- Signal/Image Processing
- Power
- Lasers/Optical Engineering
- Systems & Control
- Software Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
