I am an Associate Professor in the ECE department at the University of Alberta. I teach in the Software Option group in the Computer Engineering Division. My research interests are Computational Intelligence (especially fuzzy logic and granular computing), data mining, and their application to software testing. My dissertation research focused on the use of chaos theory in software relaibility modeling, and in using machine learning for software quality assurance.
